Veteran Community Initiatives, Inc. (VCI) provides and delivers programs and services in 14 counties within Pennsylvania to all Veterans, military members, caregivers, and the broader community across (14) counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Veteran Community Initiatives, Inc. (VCI) is a private, non-profit charitable organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service under section 501 (c) (3). Donations and/or contributions are tax deductible to the extent applicable by law.

Serving Veteran and Military Families

Our Mission

VCI’s purpose is to enhance the lives and well-being of community residents-focusing on veterans and the veteran families. VCI emphasizes assisting with social and economic needs of those who are disabled, disadvantaged, physically and mentally challenged, unemployed and underemployed, substance abusers, and current and previously incarcerated. VCI administers this support by assisting, caring, and advocating for our nation’s most precious resource-our veterans and military.

Donations Welcome

Your support and contributions will enable us to fund programs, outreach events, job trainings and so many other essential needs to assist veterans and their families in the community. All VCI services are at NO COST to our veterans and their families. Your donation is tax-deductible. 

Who We Serve

14 counties within Pennsylvania to all Veterans, military members, caregivers, and the broader community across (14) counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.

These counties include:

Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Mifflin, and Somerset. 

Veteran Programs & Services

We have 8 different programs for veterans that provide support in many different ways.  Scholarships, Outreach, Aging Services, Benefit Assistance, Occupational Support and much more.
