Conemaugh Valley Detachment #287 Marine Corps League is hosting the 80th Anniversary of the Flag Raising on Iwo Jima.

Please join us in commemorating this historical tribune to the iconic flag raising on top of Mount Suribachi during World War II by six U.S. Marines, Corporal Harlon Block, Private First Class Harold Keller, Private First Class Ira Hayes, Private First Class Harold Schultz, Private First Class Franklin Sousley and Johnstown native, Sergeant Michael Strank.
