
Saint Francis University’s ‘Why I Served’ Veterans’ Storytelling Workshop

Members of the Saint Francis University community are hosting a one-of-a-kind workshop and event designed to help Veterans share their stories confidently and with pride. This free workshop is from 10 am to 2 pm (lunch is provided). Participants will work with storytelling coaches to craft a 5-minute story on the theme Why I Served.
With ongoing mentorship from their coaches, Veterans will then take part in an unforgettable evening of live storytelling on June 7, honoring their voices and celebrating their service.
What to Expect
- Grow as a storyteller in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Get expert advice from coaches like Colonel Fred Johnson (U.S. Army, Retired) and others with significant storytelling experience.
- Engage in hands-on story development and receive personalized feedback.
- Develop practical communication skills to advance your career.
- Form meaningful connections with fellow Veterans.
