A replica of the USS Arizona and a memorial made by John Lipple (nephew of John Lipple) as a tribute to his uncle John, his own father and his other uncle Paul.
"After a lot of research, tedious detail painting, and hand steadying beers I finally got my ship together (pun intended) and made a bookshelf memorial to my Dad (lower right) and his 2 brothers John and Paul. John was killed on the USS Arizona that morning and remains there today, Paul was narrowly missed by bullets as he was removing the smokestack cover on his ship, and Dad witnessed the devastation when his ship pulled into Pearl Harbor a week later. On the bottom right is the USS Arizona memorial and John’s name on the list of his shipmates who were also lost that historic day."
